Officina della Terra’s vegan Ciukat biscuits, commonly known as cantuccini in Italy, are traditional almond biscuits which are twice baked. They are oblong shaped, dry and crunchy, and commonly served with a drink.
Because they are twice baked and therefore very dry, Ciukat biscuits are best eaten dipped into a drink (hence the serving suggestion). In Italy they are usually served as an after dinner dessert together with a fortified wine called vin santo.
